Family, did ya’ll hear that…family. His greatest achievement is staying faithfully married to his wife. I love that he said “we don’t have a legacy of family in my home” Its the “in my home”part that is remarkable to me. I hear many community leaders talk about “in our community” ; they mightt be Black or Latino, or any other minority, but Mr. Thomas’ message is personal. It fit any and every one of us, no matter your race. To me that is beautiful
