    This book has helped me define how to use Social Media beyond the simple uses I currently do, and at the same time to expand on how I can use Social Media to be more effective to Promote my Business and its events. Using Social Media for my business is a great way for me to show people what I do, how we are great, and to keep in front of my users so they don’t forget who I am so when the need arises that they need my service they hire me. I found this book when our Book Club made it Book of the Month. After reading it I was able to implement the suggestion very easily. Because of those great ideas to make the events we have had more people attend, had others promote our event, and is seen by people outside of my followers and friends. I also learned of other Social Media sites that I don’t use that I need to start using. Most of all the message from the book is like business nowadays, keep it simple, create interesting things that people want to see, distribute it to the people you want and be seen. This is the simple How to Do It Guide. I know from the few things that allowed me to focus on utilizing my social media that I should make at least another $100,000 this year that I wouldn’t have had before reading this book. I highly recommend this book.

    Dennis J. Smith’s book de-mystifies the process of using social media as a tool to promote one’s business. Smith’s book is written for the novice, but also has information an experienced user will find helpful.
