Yes, good to come across an up to date (based on Facebook hitting the global 500m mark) video of UK-specific social media stats. But you and TORA really do need to add sources for all of these. If they’ve done the research that this is based on that shouldn’t be too hard.
Add them here, or as a link, or as an overlay on the video. I’d love to quote some of these stats but I can’t until you can substantiate them with references.

Nice video on UK stat’s for internet usage & social media – thanks SimplyZesty! I found it via the LinkedIn Digital Marketing Group.

At last some UK relevant stats but do I believe them. And what can social media do for me.
loading...
There’s a thirst for current UK social media stats and this nicely made piece could go a long way to helping. So please, do get your TORA friends to add a clickable, checkable list of reference sources to the video as it’s too easy to be cynical when they are not there. At least that’s what 75.4% of those that have viewed this think.

It’s good to see a video like this done form a UK point of view, not a US one.

G8t video – stats all feel comfortable to me the only one that doesn’t resonate with me is a quarter of people writing a blog – but let’s not split hairs – it is great to have a ‘Socialnomics’ style video for the UK – so thanks for making that happen. You guys and gals rock.

@SimplyZesty Can you ask them to produce an annotated script with detailed sources (with dates) for each of the stats? That would be great!

Nice video, I’d like to share with my students – if you quote your sources. Some of the figures look dodgy to me…

Just for everybody wondering who researched this is was done by the Oxford Research Agency in the UK who are a partner of ours. If anybody wants me to put you in touch with them email me or just Google them, they also go by the name of TORA and will help you with all your market research needs.
