A Must-Have For Any WordPress Newbie,
I’ve been using WordPress for a long time, but still picked up a couple good tips from this book. It is short, straightforward and to the point. She leads you through everything you need to know to set up your blog quickly and in a nice step-by-step manner. She breaks the book up into 2 parts- a Quick Start guide and an In-Depth guide, which makes it especially nice for someone new to WordPress to get started right away. The In-Depth section is essential if you really want to make your WP blog do more fancy things. It’s also good to review back later after you’ve set up your blog. The In-Depth section goes into things like selecting and installing a theme, adding pictures, galleries, posting, widgets and plugins, contact forms and even SEO (search engine optimization). Overall I enjoyed it and highly recommend it for anyone brand new to WordPress.

A useful WordPress guide for the beginner,
This is a useful WordPress guide for the beginner. It explains how to find a host for the site, install WordPress on the site, and set it up. It goes on to explain how to set up a theme (and get another theme, if desired), which basic plugins to install, how to handle widgets, and how to set up a menu. Recommended.

Great book for getting started,
Well-written for the new blogger or site builder. Worth the money to get the basics of WordPress as the author leads you step by step. Highly recommended.
